True beauty comes from the “inner woman” – her essence, her spirit.
A truly beautiful woman is comprised of many attributes that work in symphony to produce a radiance that cannot be duplicated by the most skilled plastic surgeon or the most expensive topical beauty serum.
While our society places great emphasis on physical beauty and billions of dollars are spent on the pursuit of the latest beauty fads, fillers, injections, and trends, it is the “inner woman” that must radiate in order for a woman to considered truly beautiful.
People naturally gravitate toward beauty. Think of nature…………. how we all reach out and are drawn to pick a beautiful flower or at least pause to smell and admire the beauty of a fragrant rose. We are drawn because we instinctively know that flowers are beautiful inside and out . We pick them not only for their visual beauty, but for their sweet essence. And so it goes for women. True beauty comes from our very essence.
Beauty is in the eye of the of the beholder~ when it comes to our physical appearance, but inner beauty speaks to everyone. The bible even tells us to “go beyond outward adornment” and that true beauty is “the hidden person of the heart”. (1 Peter 3:4)
The most beautiful woman I have ever known had an essence that drew men and women alike with the power liken to Venus the Greek Goddess of love. Her outward appearance would never suggest that she had such magnetism, But , Oh how her essence captured the hearts of all those around her.
She was loyal , confidant, strong, unselfish, dependable, unassuming, loving, a best friend, humorous, humble, and gentle. She gave of herself never seeking approval. She had faith, she had worth ~ she had beauty.
The beauty guidelines I have given you in this chapter focus mainly on the outward appearance. You must remember to experience beauty throughout your lifetime, you must cultivate it from within. Let it flow through you each day. Live a beautiful life ~let beauty radiate from your body, mind, and your spirit. Physical beauty is only skin deep and fades with the passing of time. True beauty comes from your core. Purpose to become a “rose in this garden of life”.
